Paid or Fade (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides sports analytics and entertainment tools designed to help users analyze PrizePicks-style player prop slips using market trends, variance profiles, and recent statistical performance.

Information We May Collect

We may collect limited information including:

  • uploaded slip screenshots used for analysis
  • subscription and purchase information handled through third-party payment providers
  • device and analytics information used to improve app performance and user experience

Camera, Photo Library, and Uploaded Slip Images

Paid Or Fade may request access to your device’s camera or photo library when you choose to upload an image. You may use these features to photograph or select a slip for player-prop analysis or to add a settled slip to your performance tracker. Paid Or Fade does not access your camera or photo library in the background. Access occurs only when you initiate an upload and grant permission through your device.

Image Processing and OCR

Uploaded slip images are used temporarily for optical character recognition and automated image analysis. Images are converted into a transmittable format and sent securely to Paid Or Fade’s backend, which uses OpenAI’s vision technology as a service provider to extract information from the image. Uploaded images are not saved to Paid Or Fade’s database or permanent file storage.

Slip Analysis

For slip analysis, Paid Or Fade may extract information such as player names, prop categories, lines, and selected directions. The image is discarded after processing. If you choose to save the analyzed slip, Paid Or Fade may store the extracted slip information, including its title, legs, players, grade, and confidence score. The original image is not stored.

Performance Tracker

For the Performance Tracker, Paid Or Fade extracts only the stake, returned amount, and result, such as win or loss. The screenshot is discarded after OCR processing and is not stored. Player and team information from Performance Tracker screenshots is not saved.

Temporary Image Handling

During slip analysis, an uploaded image may be held temporarily in the device browser’s session storage so it can be transferred between the upload and review screens. It is removed from session storage when the review screen retrieves it. Images may remain temporarily in active memory while processing is completed, but Paid Or Fade does not intentionally retain them in its database or permanent file storage.

Third-Party Processing

Paid Or Fade uses OpenAI as a service provider to perform automated image analysis and text extraction. Images are transmitted to OpenAI solely to provide the requested OCR functionality. OpenAI’s processing of this information is subject to its applicable data-processing and privacy terms.

Data Retention

  • Uploaded images are processed transiently and are not permanently stored by Paid Or Fade.
  • Extracted Slip Analysis information may be retained when a user saves an analyzed slip.
  • Performance Tracker records containing stake, returned amount, and result are retained until deleted by the user or through an account-deletion request.
  • Users may delete saved slips and tracker entries through the app where that functionality is available.
  • Users may contact Paid Or Fade using the privacy contact information provided in this policy to request account and data deletion.

Third-Party Services

Paid or Fade may use third-party services including:

  • subscription/payment providers
  • analytics providers
  • hosting/database providers

These providers may process limited data required for app functionality.

Data Protection

We do not sell personal information.

We take reasonable steps to protect user information and maintain platform security.
